Home staging is meant to show your home in the best possible light and increase the perceived value. Once staged, homes spend an average of 73% less time on the market, which means more money for you. In general, the longer a home spends on the market, the further the price will drop. Home staging definitely pays for itself!
Over 77% of buyers find it “easier to visualize the property as their future home” when it’s staged.
86% of home buyers consider a living room most important to have staged, followed by the master bedroom (84%), the kitchen (68%), and then the outdoor space (63%).
Sellers' agents report even more value is added from staging: 29% reported an increase of 1-5% in dollar value offered by buyers, 21% reporting an increase of 8-10%, and 5% reported an increase of 11-15%. (On a $300,000 home, that’s an increase of $3,000 - $45,000!)
